Tourist Attractions in Siem Reap

Siem Reap is the Green Zone of Camodia which once the ancient Khmer Capital city. Now, It is doing on its way to be a very charming and developed town with rows of tree along the boulevard. Dozens of touris facilities stretch along the main roads.
Siem Reap is the monuments city, Angkor Temples, ranking among the greatest religious monuments in the world, represents Khmer civilization which dominated the region from 802-1431 AD. It serves as the gateway to the millennium-old temple ruins of the Khmer Empire. Designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the Angkor Archaeological Park encompasses dozens of major temple ruins.

ANGKOR WAT TEMPLE

ANGKOR THOM

South Gate of Angkor Thom City(Big Angkor) is a 3 km walled with moat royal city and was the last capital of the Angkor empire. A great city built in late 12th century by  Jayavaraman VII, there are a lot of temple constructions included.

BAYON TEMPLE

The main temple of Angkor Thom is located in the central of city named Bayon Temple. The giant stone faces of Bayon have become one of the most recognizable images connected to classic Khmer art and architecture. There are now 37 standing towers, most but not all sporting four carved faces oriented toward the cardinal points.

TA PRUM TEMPLE

Ta Prum TempleIt was build by King  Jayavarman VII in Mid 12th – Early 13th century in Bayon  style and dedicated to his mother. Ta Prohm was one of  Jayavarman VII ‘s first Major temple projects. It has been left as seen then in the hands of nature when rediscovered in 1860.
